Working with people like the Yehudi Menuhin School on a variety of marketing and design projects is great fun, especially if the client is good to work with and there’s some flexibility with the branding. Apart from a few fonts and colours, the guide to two season’s worth of shows and performances at the Menuhin Hall was designed from scratch with the close partnership of the School’s marketing team and the Hall’s manager. With a variety of different information that needed to be accessed easily and quickly, the design utilises a simple grid template and clearly structured hierarchy to convey things like show times, ticket prices, key information and names of performers, among other things.
“The response we’ve had to the new guides has been fantastic so far. It’s clear, modern and easy to read, plus it still fits nicely into the School’s brand. Perfect!” – Sarah McDonald, Marketing and Communications manager
