Working within the heritage sector can sometimes be a challenge because of possible restrictions on creativity, but it can also be a test to see what we can push in terms of design. I’ve worked with The Landmark Trust for many years on things ranging from the handbook and price list, to guidebooks, signage and exhibitions, and having involvement in the brand development and general design ethos over that period of time helped to not only shape everything being produced but to drive the design forward.

Operating on so many different projects within the organisation also gave the Trust the consistency it needed across the brand, ultimately giving each commission the right balance between knowledge of the client’s needs/wants and overall design awareness.
